See 5 homesA day at the wineries ends well with a soak in the hot tub and a session in the sauna, and most of our Yarra Valley homes have both. Several have cedar barrel saunas, so the whole group can take turns.
The homes are in and around Yarra Glen and Healesville, about an hour's drive from Melbourne, with the valley's cellar doors, restaurants and Healesville Sanctuary close by. They are big houses, most with six bedrooms, and sleep 13 to 17 guests.
A spa and sauna stay works all year, but it is at its best from autumn to spring, when the evenings are cool and the valley is misty in the morning. Weekends are busy, so midweek is a good choice if your group can make it. Friday and Saturday nights in late spring and summer are often booked well ahead for weddings at the nearby wineries.
