Valeri is four king bedrooms in a private estate, for the couple, their parents and the one or two friends they want beside them, with the quiet, the space and the light that the morning of a wedding deserves.

Days tend to stretch here. Coffee to the sound of birdsong, grounds that draw you outside, and evenings gathered together, around the table, the fire and another bottle.

Set within 200 acres of private countryside, Valeri offers a very different way to experience the Yarra Valley. At its heart is an extraordinary four-bedroom residence, surrounded by mature gardens, open paddocks, waterways and a working cattle property.

For those coming to the Yarra Valley for a wedding, Valeri offers an exceptional private base for the days surrounding it. An oversized dressing room provides generous space for hair and makeup, while the gardens, art-filled interiors and surrounding landscape create beautiful settings for photographs.

Valeri is a Partnered Stay, independently owned and hosted. It is a whole-of-house, exclusive-use stay for adults, with a two-night minimum. Lively checks availability with the host, sends your quote and confirms your booking.

Who stays at Valeri

Four king bedrooms make room for exactly the people you want close on the day: the two of you, both sets of parents, or your parents and two of the bridal party. Everyone else stays nearby, so the house stays calm the night before and the morning of. Valeri is adults only, for up to eight overnight guests.

    The night before

    Arrive to a pantry stocked by Yarra Valley makers. Light the fire, cook for eight at the long table, and go to bed early. Nobody has to drive anywhere.

    The morning of

    Hair and make-up in the oversized dressing room, coffee on the verandah, and first photographs in the gardens, the art-filled rooms and along the drive before the car arrives.

    The day after

    A late breakfast, a soak in the outdoor spa looking over the valley, a walk across the estate to the Yarra River, and a long lunch while everyone retells the night.

Valeri is for the inner circle. For everyone else, our own homes around Yarra Glen and Healesville sleep thirteen to seventeen guests each, all with hot tubs and most with saunas, so whole families can stay together and come to the recovery lunch.

Can we get married at Valeri?

No. Valeri is accommodation only, with no parties, events or functions. It is the private base for the couple and their closest people, with the wedding at a venue nearby.

How many people can stay?

Up to eight adults overnight, in four king bedrooms with two bathrooms. Valeri is adults only.

Can our hair and make-up artist and photographer come to the house?

Yes, with the host's approval in advance. Valeri has a limit of eight people on the property, so list everyone who will be coming when you enquire.

Which wedding venues are near Valeri?

Chateau Yering and Yering Station are both in Yering, Valeri's own locality. Stones of the Yarra Valley is in Coldstream, and Balgownie Estate and Zonzo Estate are in Yarra Glen.

What does it cost, and what's the minimum stay?

From $4,000 a night for the whole estate, with a two-night minimum, which suits the night before and the night of the wedding. The price for your dates comes with your quote.
