Beach houses and penthouses on the southern Gold Coast, about an hour from Brisbane.
See 8 homesOur Gold Coast homes are mostly on the quieter southern end of the coast, from Mermaid Waters and Miami down through Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and Currumbin to Coolangatta and Kirra on the New South Wales border. It is about an hour's drive from Brisbane, and Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta has direct flights from Melbourne and Sydney.
Each beach has its own feel. Burleigh Heads has the national park headland walk and a busy cafe strip. Palm Beach and Currumbin are relaxed family beaches, and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a good day out with kids. Coolangatta and Kirra have calm corners for swimming and Snapper Rocks for surfers. About 20 minutes south, over the border, Casuarina on the Tweed Coast has long empty beaches.
The Gold Coast is warm all year. Summer is hot and humid, and the Queensland school holidays run from 12 December 2026 to 26 January 2027, which is the peak. Winter is dry and mild, around 20 degrees in the day, and humpback whales pass along the coast from about June to November. Easter 2027 (Good Friday is 26 March) is another busy week.
We have penthouses with private rooftop pools in Miami and Coolangatta, and family homes with private pools in Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach, Currumbin Waters, Mermaid Waters and Runaway Bay, some on the canals. Most sleep six to ten guests.
