About Mount Martha

Mount Martha is a village of boutiques, galleries and eateries, with a safe swimming beach lined with colourful bathing boxes. It has a life saving club, and the beach is patrolled on some days over summer. Peninsula Link, the freeway from EastLink, ends here, which is why it is one of the easiest parts of the Peninsula to reach.

The Briars is a heritage park with a wildlife reserve, wetlands, native gardens and a cafe. The Mount Martha Briars Market runs on some Saturdays, including 5 December 2026 and 2 January 2027. Check the organiser before you go.

Close by

Mornington is next door, with Main Street, a pier and marina, and Pond Bathhouse. Dromana, at the foot of Arthurs Seat, is the start of the Two Bays Walking Trail and home to a cluster of cellar doors. Guests who book a Mount Martha home direct can add Stay & Bathe with POND.

About an hour's drive from the CBD. Take the Monash Freeway to EastLink, then Peninsula Link, which ends at Mount Martha, or the Nepean Highway.
