Gold Coast wedding accommodation for the whole wedding party.

The best part of a wedding weekend happens around the day itself: the dinner the night before, the morning of, and the lunch after. Bellagio puts up to twenty of your people in one estate on the river, ten minutes from Sanctuary Cove.

The moments couples remember most often happen away from the reception: everyone around one table the night before, the bridal party getting ready together, the slow lunch the day after. Those moments are easier when your people are under one roof. Bellagio holds twenty, and it was made for the photographs.

  • A marble lobby and double staircase for the getting-ready and family photos
  • Upstairs suites with walk-in robes and ensuites, the Grand Master with a spa bath and lounge
  • A lawn, pool and private pontoon on 200 metres of river frontage
  • Private chefs, transfers and boat cruises arranged through the host

Bellagio is a seven-suite estate on its own point of the river inside the gated Hope Island Resort. Guests arrive at a columned portico and arched timber doors, into a marble lobby where a double staircase climbs beneath a chandelier and a lit dome.

Upstairs, all three suites have walk-in robes and their own ensuites, and the Grand Master adds a spa bath and a private lounge, so the bridal party has space to get ready. Outside, the lawns, the 15 metre pool and the private pontoon on the river give the photographer a dozen settings without leaving the grounds.

Bellagio is a Partnered Stay, independently owned and hosted. Send us your plans: we check availability and what your weekend can include with the host, then send your quote and confirm your booking.

Four days

Your wedding weekend at Bellagio

  • A grand piano in Bellagio's lounge off the marble lobby
    01Thursday or Friday

    The night before

A private chef cooks for both families in the estate's kitchen. The host's signature is a Georgian feast for sharing: handmade khinkali, walnut dishes and fresh salads. Or go Modern Australian, with seafood grills and canapés.

  • The marble lobby and sweeping double staircase under Bellagio's atrium dome
    02Wedding day

    The morning of

Hair and make-up in the upstairs suites with the balcony doors open. First looks on the marble staircase, the bridal party on the entrance steps, and a chauffeured car to the ceremony.

  • Bellagio's 15 metre pool and heated spa at dusk, the house lit above it
    03Late

    After the reception

Everyone comes home to the same house. Outdoor noise comes down at 9pm, so the night carries on quietly inside, in the games room bar or the cinema.

  • Bellagio from the water, with its river frontage and private pontoon
    04Recovery

    The day after

Book one of the host's crewed boats to collect the party from the pontoon for a cruise to the sandbars, with grazing and drinks on board. A four-hour cruise for up to 20 is about $5,450.

At the estate

Want to celebrate at Bellagio itself?

Bellagio's owners have hosted a wedding across the lawns and the marble lobby, and they work with an event hire partner for styling. They can also arrange private fireworks over the river. A celebration at the house is a separate conversation with the host: tell us how many people are staying, how many more you'd like for the dinner or the morning after, and the times, and we'll find out what's possible for your date.

Before you go

Questions guests ask

Where can the wedding party stay together on the Gold Coast?

Bellagio, a seven-suite estate at Hope Island, sleeps up to twenty: enough for the couple, the bridal party and both families under one roof.

Can we hold our wedding at Bellagio?

The owners have hosted a wedding at the estate and work with an event hire partner, but any celebration beyond the people staying needs their approval before you book and must follow the estate's rules, including outdoor noise coming down at 9pm. Tell us your plans and we'll confirm what's possible.

How far is Bellagio from Sanctuary Cove?

Ten minutes, by the host's times. InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort and the marina village are right beside Hope Island.

Is there room to get ready at the house?

Yes. The three upstairs suites have walk-in robes and their own ensuites, the Grand Master with a spa bath and a private lounge, and the marble lobby and staircase are made for photos. Include your hair, make-up and photographer in your enquiry so the host knows who to expect.

Can the host arrange a chef, transfers or a boat?

Yes. A private chef for the night before, chauffeured airport and ceremony transfers, and a crewed boat from the pontoon for the day after, all quoted with your stay.

How much is wedding accommodation for 20 on the Gold Coast?

Bellagio is from $3,000 a night for the whole estate, from about $150 each when twenty share it, with a three-night minimum. The price for your dates comes with your quote.

Where can the rest of our wedding guests stay?

Our own Gold Coast homes sleep from seven to ten: The Beachside House at Burleigh Heads and RISE at Coolangatta each sleep ten, and Riviera at Miami sleeps seven. Tell us how many guests are coming and we'll check them alongside Bellagio.

Who do we book Bellagio with?

You book through Lively. Bellagio is a Partnered Stay, independently owned and hosted by Craig and his team: we check availability with the host, send your quote and confirm your booking, and the host looks after check-in and your stay.
