A Luxury Stay by LIVELY Properties The Ridge is a mid-century home set among the treetops of Mount Eliza, on one of the largest landholdings in the neighbourhood. A recent renovation kept the bones of the original architecture and added the comforts a big group needs: two living areas, each with its own fireplace, a kitchen built for cooking together, and five queen bedrooms. The grounds are the real draw. A solar-heated, self-cleaning pool sits beside a covered alfresco pavilion with a fireplace and mains gas barbecue. Past the lawns a creek and waterfall run through the bottom of the block, and there's a Japanese water garden near the house. The kids get a trampoline and a cricket net. The adults get the wellness lounge, with a sauna, cold plunge and gas fireplace. A freestanding studio holds a fitted-out gym, a separate office and its own bathroom. It suits a morning workout, a quiet workday or a small retreat group that wants its own space away from the main house. House Rules (IMPORTANT, please read) For a smooth stay and to respect our neighbours and the council, please follow the guidelines below: 1. Every group must sign a booking agreement provided by Lively Properties. 2. The maximum number of guests allowed on the property at any time, day or night, is 10. 3. Quiet time is from 10pm to 8am. The pool, alfresco and all outdoor areas are off-limits after 10pm. 4. No parties, events or unapproved gatherings at any time. Wedding guests are welcome to stay, but no ceremonies, receptions or pre-wedding gatherings are held at the home. 5. Loud music or activities that disturb neighbours are prohibited at all times. The property has noise monitoring. 6. Strictly no schoolies, hens or bucks bookings. 7. No bookings from groups under the age of 28. The primary guest must be 28 or older and present for the stay. 8. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside and outside the property. 9. No pets. 10. Parking is only permitted on the property. No street or nature strip parking. 11. The pool and sauna equipment areas are off-limits. Tampering can cause damage, and repair costs may be charged to guests. 12. A damage waiver of $125 applies to every booking. For non-Airbnb bookings, a refundable bond of $1,500 is held by credit card pre-authorisation and released 3 days after checkout. 13. For security and guest safety, exterior cameras are installed on the property. They cover outdoor areas only and do not record inside the house or any private space. Guests have the whole property: the main house, pool, alfresco pavilion, wellness lounge, studio and grounds. The garage and some storage areas are locked for the owner's use. Check-in is self check-in, and your access details are sent before arrival. Mount Eliza is the quiet end of the Peninsula's bay side, with big leafy blocks and a small village at its centre. Mount Eliza Village is a three-minute drive, with cafés, shops and a handful of good local restaurants. Canadian Bay Beach, a sheltered bay beach with calm water for swimming, is seven minutes away. Mornington's Main Street is nine minutes south, with its restaurants, wine bars and the Wednesday street market. The wineries of Red Hill and Main Ridge, Peninsula Hot Springs and the ocean beaches of the southern Peninsula are all an easy day trip. Sunnyside Estate, one of Mount Eliza's wedding venues, is six minutes from the door. A car is the easiest way to get around. There's off-street parking for several cars in the driveway and carport. Melbourne Airport is about 65 minutes away in usual traffic via the M3 and M1 (tolls apply).
