About the stay
A classic Victorian on the Williamstown Esplanade, five bedrooms sleeping 10, with the bay right across the road. A calm, historic feel, matched with warm and comfortable interiors. Cross the road for a swim when the weather suits, stroll the foreshore to the Botanic Gardens, or walk about 20 minutes into Nelson Place for dinner.
Downstairs is made for gathering. The front living and dining room looks straight out to the water, with sofas and a TV at one end and a formal dining table for 8 at the other.
Further in, the kitchen is set up for cooking for a crowd, with a long stone island, a freestanding gas cooker, a dishwasher and plenty of bench space, plus a butler's pantry for the prep and the overflow. The breakfast table seats 10, so the whole group can sit down together. A twin bedroom and a full bathroom complete the ground floor, handy for anyone who would rather skip the stairs.

Upstairs is the quieter retreat. A second lounge with its own TV gives everyone room to spread out, and the four upstairs bedrooms share the level with a further bathroom. The master is the room to claim, with a king bed, its own ensuite and views over the bay.

The whole home and front garden are yours for your stay. There is a separate studio at the rear of the property with its own street access from the back. It is not part of your booking, has no outlook into the house or garden, and is very rarely occupied.
Williamstown is one of Melbourne's oldest seaside villages, and the Esplanade runs right along its foreshore. The water across the road is swimmable in good weather, with a clean path down into the bay rather than a sandy beach. For sand, Williamstown Beach is a short walk along the foreshore. Head the other way for the cafés, pubs and restaurants of Nelson Place, the historic streetscape around Gem Pier, and Seaworks on the waterfront.
Williamstown Beach station has trains to Flinders Street. By car, the CBD is about 20 minutes over the West Gate and Melbourne Airport about 30 minutes.

- No loud music or loud activities that may disturb neighbours at any time.
- Only the number of guests specified in your booking is allowed unless prior approval is given.
- No smoking anywhere inside the home.
- Pets by approval only. Please ask before booking.
- Please park considerately and never block neighbouring driveways.
